Transportation Assistance
Taft College offers a variety of transportation services to support students in getting to and from campus safely and affordably. Resources include gas cards, Liftango Carpool App, Kern Transit, and access to California’s Low-Cost Auto Insurance program.
Liftango Carpool App
The Liftango app helps Taft College students connect with one another to share rides, making commuting more affordable and sustainable. Students can sign up as either a driver or rider, request or offer rides, and get matched with others traveling to the same destination.
For step-by-step instructions on downloading, signing up, and using the app, please view the Liftango How to Guide.
