Math Recommendations by Major

Students who have graduated from high school within the last 10 years and have a goal of transfer or degree attainment can enroll directly into transfer-level courses. Consult with your counselor or assist.org to be sure that the transfer level course you select is appropriate for the college/university you intend to transfer to.

If you do not intend to transfer, you may complete MATH 1500 for an Associate’s degree unless a higher level Math course is required by your major.

Below, please find a list of transfer degrees/programs, and the recommended math course(s) for TC, CSU and UC systems. Other majors are also offered at TC. Please consult your counselor on math recommendations for non-transfer degrees.
