TAFT COLLEGE (WEST KERN CCD) SUPERINTENDENT/PRESIDENT SEARCH
The Governing Board of the West Kern CCD (Taft College) is seeking an equity-minded, dynamic, collaborative, and innovative leader to serve as Superintendent/President. The Superintendent/President will be responsible for providing effective leadership and administrative management for all operational activities at the College and the District.

The West Kern CCD (Taft College) is a single-college district governed by a five-member Board of Trustees. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the Superintendent/President serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the District and of the College itself. The position is open until filled. Applicants must submit the following no later than January 5, 2024 (11:59pm PST) to be considered in the first review of applicants:
- A completed Taft College employment application.
- A letter of interest that addresses how the applicant’s skills and experiences align with the desirable qualifications and the ideal characteristics listed in the position profile (not to exceed 3 pages).
- A current resume or curriculum vitae that includes educational background, professional experience, professional activities, and any other experience pertinent to the position.
- A list of eight (8) professional references with mobile phone and email contact information. Include two supervisors, two subordinates (including one support staff member), two faculty, and two community members.
