Our Community

Taft College is an intimate, educational community committed to helping students successfully pursue dreams through career technical education, foundational programs, and guaranteed transfer programs to four-year universities. One of the California Community Colleges, our campus has residence halls and is located about 120 miles north of Los Angeles.

At Taft College, we regard relationships and support services as essential for student success. Students can choose from more than 75 degree and certificate programs. We offer a 16-to-1 student/faculty ratio and one of the lowest costs of attendance, ensuring that education is available for everyone. We provide an equitable learning environment for our diverse student body, offering pre-collegiate basic skills, extensive student resources, and many extra-curricular opportunities.
