• You must be a registered Taft Collegestudent to rent books.
• The name of the registered student MUST be listed in the "Ship to" box of the order form.
• You must enter a zip code for your order to be processed.
• Please allow 3 days for processing your order. Shipping time varies.
• Return labels: If you would like a UPS return label, you must purchase one as a separate item, located in the Supplies category.

TEXTBOOK RENTAL USER AGREEMENT & DISCLAIMER

USER AGREEMENT:

I agree that all rental books are the property of Taft College. I agree that all rental books are to be returned or post-marked to the bookstore no later than 10 days after the end of the current semester. I agree that if this deadline is not met, I will be charged a late fee of $5.00 per book. The bookstore will not accept any books returned 30 days from the current semester. I will be billed for the total retail cost of the book and a campus wide hold will be placed on my records until all fees are paid.

DISCLAIMER:

Rental books are distributed as reference books only. When ordering rental texts in the online bookstore, the "Buy Now" icon applies to ordering both rental and purchase textbooks.

• The bookstore rents certain textbooks for 20% cost of each book. Please see item description for rental or purchase indication. All textbooks are distributed/collected via UPS.
• The shipping fees for text orders are determined by weight and processing fees and are varied for each order.  The return label is not included in this price.  If the student wishes to order a return label for the return of any rental books at the end of the semester, please choose the shipping item located on the left of the screen. The rental return label is a flat fee of $10.00.
• All rental books are pre-determined by the Department of Instruction.

RENTAL REFUND POLICY: All requests for refund must be made within 14 days from the class start to receive a textbook refund or exchange for a 16 week semester length course. All intersession courses have one week to receive a textbook refund or exchange. Days are defined as calendar days.
