A native of Wichita, Kansas, Tony Thompson has been with Taft College since 1987. Tony is quite busy, as he serves Taft College in a number of areas. Primarily a Student Services Academic Advisor, he also serves as a part-time instructor in Health Education and Physical Education.
Mr. Thompson earned an Associate in Arts Degree at Hutchinson Community Junior College in Hutchinson, Kansas, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Kansas Newman College in Wichita, Kansas, and a Master of Education in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Administration from Wichita State University. Additionally, he has taken undergraduate coursework at The University of Texas at El Paso and at Taft College.
