I am a long-time resident of Taft, and I am proud to say that I graduated from Taft College. After receiving my AA degree, I transferred to CSU Fresno, then known as Fresno State. I began my career at Taft College in 1987 when I was hired to supervise the library in the evening. In 1992 I added adjunct instructor to my duties when I began teaching Library Skills. In December 1996 1 switched positions when I became an Academic Advisor/Career Counselor. At that time I was also the G.A.I.N. coordinator, and I am now part of the CalWORKs team.

I am the mother of three daughters all of whom have or are attending Taft College. My middle daughter graduated with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I am a strong advocate of the Dental Hygiene Program. I love to assist students in planning their prerequisites for the program and scheduling their classes once they are accepted into the program.

In my spare time I enjoy my animals (cats, dogs, horses and bird), cooking, camping, family, and traveling.  I love Lake Tahoe, but Venice, Italy, is my all time favorite place to visit.
