Sharyn Eveland seveland@taftcollege.org received her B.A. as well as M.A. degree in Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield. Her job is to determine the eligibility status of students seeking assistance through SSS/DSPS. She also conducts assessments and determines what accommodations eligible students are entitled to use. In addition, she teaches a variety of the classes that Taft College offers.

Sharyn is an advocate for our students with disabilities, and strives to promote awareness on our campus each and every day.

Now that we're done with the formal stuff...Welcome to my homepage. I am not nearly as stuffy as the intro makes me sound. In fact, people tell me I'm rather nice (I'm not sure you should believe them).

I do all the things in the top of the page, but I also spend a lot of time wandering around on campus visiting with students. I do this so you can find me without having to make an appointment to come to my office. There are some things you have to do in my office; but not many.
