needs instructor or tutorial help. MyMathLab is also available to help
you successfully complete the class. Expect to spend 8-12 hours per
week.Special Requirements: Internet connection, and a valid
email address to use MyMathLab are strongly recommended. Students will
submit work via a proctor and the U.S. Postal mail or through the Taft
College Learning Resource Center.
Assignments & Tests: Homework will not be collected
but students are expected to do a reasonable number of practice
problems. Details can be found in the syllabus.
Proctored Exams: Exams include proctored Chapter tests and a
Final exam. See the
Proctor
Identification Procedures for directions on how to set up a proctor
for approval.
Additional Comments: : Attendance is measured by the
student’s participation and progress through the course. Students may be
dropped from the class if they are not making "continuing progress" in
the class. "Continuing Progress" is defined as participating in the
class discussions and taking the chapter tests no later than the last
day scheduled.
