ECE 11A-80 Infancy Development
This is an introduction to the basic concepts of infant behavior and
development. This course is designed to give an orientation to the field of
infant studies. It covers theories of infant development, before birth
preparation, the first months of life, the dawn of consciousness, the origins of
initiative, becoming vulnerable, the 18- to 24-month conflicts, the 24-month
non-baby stage, and the effects of early experience.

- Advisory: Eligibility for English 50 and 54 strongly
recommended
