  • Special Requirements: The format of the class allows complete student control of their work schedule within the confines of deadlines established by the course syllabus. Students should contact the instructor during the first week of class. Depending upon circumstances this may be on campus, via e-mail, or telephone. All work should be completed and turned in by the due dates set up in the syllabus. Students may be dropped from the class if they are not making "continuing progress" in the class. "Continuing Progress" is defined as turning in work as scheduled. Work on this class every week. Continuous work is necessary for success! • Additional Comments: Because this is a distance-learning course, attendance is not an issue. Turning assignments in regularly is. If you do not meet the first assignment deadline, I will assume you do not wish to stay in the class and drop you unless you contact me, after that it is your responsibility to drop the class. Deadline for homework and exams is defined in the syllabus. Contact the counseling center or the distance learning help desk to drop the course.
