PSYC 1518-40, Career Exploration

This course focuses on the value and the decision-making process. Student will systematically examine the various aspects of career alternatives. Personal awareness will be explored as it relates to career choices. This course is offered on a Pass/No Pass basis only.

    • Purchase: The Career Fitness Program (8th edition) , Diane Sukiennik , W.Bendat & L. Raufman, available at the Taft College Bookstore for approximately $54.00. ISBN 0-13-17094-7. 9th edition is also available through online purchase at Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
  • Estimated Time Per Week: Students can expect to spend approximately 8 hours per week reading, writing, completing assignments, participating in online discussions and taking quizzes. 
  • Special Requirements:  The entire class is delivered in the online format. Student is responsible for accessing site and completing work in a timely manner.
  • Assignments & Tests: There are online assignments after each modules as well as writing assignments and quizzes.
