MGMT 1540-40: Managing Organizational Change

This course (formerly MGMT 17) is a ½ -semester credit course designed to provide the student with an understanding of change and the influence it has on an organization and the individuals in that organization. Topics will include understanding organizational change, theoretical models of change, stages of change, and how to manage organizational change.

  • Advisory: Eligibility for English 1000 and Reading 1005 strongly recommended; 8 hours of lecture, 7 assignments, 1 final project

    • Office Hours: The instructor will be available on campus on Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. unless in classroom, or by appointment.
    • Student Contact Hours: The instructor is available Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. to work directly with students on this course.
  • Units: ½ semester credit
  • Class Start and End: October 26th to November 6th, 2009 - Only two weeks, and entirely on-line. There are three lesson modules, seven homework assignments, and one final project.
