ENGL 1500-41 Composition and Reading
This course stresses expository writing based on
critical reading of selected prose works, library research techniques, a
research paper, grammar, and mechanics.

Qualification by assessment process or English

conducted online through the Etudes program. Students are required
to have Internet access, the ability to use word processing, conduct
Internet searches, attach files, send emails, and work
independently.

: Because this is a distance learning
course, attendance is not an issue. Turning assignments in on time
is. If you do not meet the first assignment deadline, I will assume
you do not wish to stay in the class and drop you unless you contact
me. It is your responsibility to drop the course. Drops will not be
backdated. Contact the counseling center or the distance learning
help desk to drop the course. Plagiarized work will receive zero
points.
