BUS 1500-40: Introduction to Business
This course is designed to provide students an overview
of the functions, objectives, organization and structure of business and its
importance in a free enterprise system.

Estimated Time Per Week: Students can expect to spend approximately
8 to 10 hours per week reading and completing required assignments.
Special Requirements:
The entire course will be conducted online through the ETUDES program.
Students are required to have Internet access, an email address, the ability
to use word processing and PowerPoint programs, attach files, send emails,
and other basic computer skills. Students are expected to work
independently. Follow the log in instructions below. Contact me or the help
desk staff by the first day of class if you have problems logging in.
Assignments & Tests: Students will participate in discussion
topics, complete homework assignments, a Capstone Project, weekly quizzes,
unit exams, and a final exam.
Proctored Exams: No.
Additional Comments: It is the student’s responsibility to drop the
course if they find they are unable to complete the course requirements.

drop slips.
