BUS 2275-30 Business Law

This course is a survey of the principles of business law with particular emphasis given to contracts, sales, negotiable instruments, and trade regulations.

  • Estimated Time Per Week: Students can expect to spend approximately 8 to 10 hours per week reading, doing homework assignments, and completing exams. 
  • Special Requirements: Directions for the course are included in the course syllabus. Students can submit their work via Fax, U.S. postal mail, the LRC on campus, through the TC aides at TCI, or in person. Students are expected to work independently. This course is not delivered through the Etudes program.
  • Assignments & Tests: Multiple-choice exams and essays.
  • Proctored Exams: Yes See the Proctor Identification Procedures for directions on how to set up a proctor for approval. Proctors must be approved prior to use. This should be completed during the first week of the course.
  • Additional Comments: Because this is a distance-learning course, attendance is not an issue. Assignments must be turned in by the due dates in the course syllabus. All work is expected to be completed and delivered on time. Students not submitting the first assignment on time will be dropped from the course. After that, it is the responsibility of the student to drop the course. Contact the counseling center or the distance learning help desk to drop the course.
